Working principle

Main parts of VSI5X Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher are as below: stand parts, spindle assembly, rotor part assembly, drive motor part, stand assembly (including upper and lower stand parts), hydraulic jacking swiveling mechanism and running-board bracket at both sides. Supplementary part has electrical system and lubrication system.

Working principle for full central feeding of VSI5X series of new type sand making machine: material drops into feed hopper and enters rotor rotating at high speed through central feeding hole before fully accelerated and thrown out by ejecting port. It is firstly pounded with some rebounded material which then freely drops; then all of them are impacted onto vortex liner in surrounding vortex cavity (or onto reaction block): they are firstly rebounded to top part of crushing cavity, then deviated and moved downward and heavily pounded with material ejected from flow passage of the impeller to form continuous material curtain and then discharged from discharge opening at the lower part.

Working principle for central feeding accompanied with annular cascade feeding for VSI5X series of new type sand making machine: material drops into feed hopper and drops down through annular hole and is divided into two strands of material by bulk panel. One strand of material enters the impeller rotating at high speed through material-distributing panel; the other strand of material drops from the surrounding of material-distributing panel. Material entering the impeller is rapidly accelerated in the impeller and is thrown out at high speed: it is firstly impacted and crushed with another part of material freely dropping from the surrounding of bulk panel; all of them are impacted onto vortex liner in surrounding vortex cavity (or onto reaction block); they are firstly rebounded onto top part of crushing cavity, then deviated and moved downward, hit with material ejected from flow passage of the impeller to form continuous material curtain and are discharged through discharge opening at the lower part.

Notes to installation

1. VSI5X Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher can be installed on firm reinforced concrete foundation and also can be installed on steel-structure stand. Depth of the foundation can be decided by users according to situation of local soil and environment condition.

2. To avoid accumulation of crushed material, there should be enough space under crusher to install conveying equipment. Specific size can be confirmed by users according to supported conveying equipment.

3. Oil returning port of thin oil lubrication station must be lower than oil outlet of equipment. Oil return pipe in the middle cannot be higher than the height of oil outlet to avoid unsmooth oil return which can cause blocking.
